MY REVIEW:

A very short but steamy book. It's about Cain, the pack Enforcer and Emily a pack member who is studying outside of pack territory. But is forced to go back because of a threat among women shifters. She and Cain have this very strong attraction towards each other that originated way back. Apparently Emily seduced Cain before but was rejected. So as to lessen the hurt and forget him, she decided to go to college in another place. And the rest is history.

I liked it. Fast-faced, action-adventure, steamy, and a little intriguing. I was curious as to who is this mysterious culprit they're looking for and was certain that Emily will soon be a victim. Predictable flow of events. I'm sure it will all lead to that. Anyhow, it's still very much anticipated. I like their chemistry, but it would have been much much better if there's a lil resistance on Emily's part. Give Cain a hard time chasing her, a lil payback for rejecting her years ago. And also a lil jealousy would do, to work out Cain.. to bring him over the edge. HAHA. But we all saw it, he can't apparently handle the green-eyed monster taunting him. He almost killed Emily at that he doesn't even witness first-hand the thing that made him jealous. But then, I guess it's like that in all weres, they're very territorial and possessive as hell. I particularly like the kitchen scene and the backyard scene. It was just so hot knowing Cain can't hold and control himself around Emily.

I was proven wrong of my guess of the real were-gone-rogue. Never thought it was Larry since there's something about him and the way he looks at Sam. Nor did I not have a particular guess in mind, thought it was just a random guy. Hmm. x

All in all, I liked it.. Same as the first installment. I just wish it's much longer.

MEMORABLE LINES | CONVO:

"You’d better stay away from Eric and Kyle and anyone else I say."
"No."
No?"
"I can talk to whoever I want."
"Do what I say Emily. You don't want to see me jealous."
