MY REVIEW:
It was pretty much the same as the first book thou I expected more of this one. Still the same barbaric cyborgs who treats human esp. woman little less than insects. The whole concept of this cyborg thingie could have been sexy and unique if when the time comes that they'll meet their heroine, they'll change and somewhat mellowed but as much as I want that to happen, it didn't. Still the same cyborgs who chokes, rejected their heroine. Not even a single chemistry seen on their first meeting. No sparks, possessiveness, and no hint of recognition. That's it. That latter feelings will be at the end. It was like it was just added to make it the book an HEA and a poor attempt to convince the reader that MCs are meant for each other. The sex was good and hot if I may say so. And I particularly like the part when Rena seduces Steel and was bluntly rejected and I thought (is that it?) but then she does have something up her sleeve all along (is it?). The whole shut-down-10-ninute reboot thingie command was good. I didn't even see that one coming. I thought that the heroine will just use another method of seduction until the hero cleaves in to her. But after that, all the scenes are predictable and a lil boring. Still the same climax to be expected as to what I've read from the first book. I just hope the writer will think of another one since it's becoming a bore to read it again and again.
Overall, it was an okay read. Took me a while to finish it. And I must say, I am really not a fan of Sci-Fi, Futuristic and Dystopian genre.
