I don't know why but I haven't enjoyed reading tagalog fiction lately, esp from the works of the new and not so new writers. Altho there may be some exceptions but I can count them with my fingers. It's not that I find them boring, but it takes more than just simple lines like: "I can't live without you. I tried. But I simply can't." "I'm not going anywhere so you better get used to the idea.
